San Gabriel Valley Municipal Water District
THE PIPELINE

Mission of the Water District

The Water District was created by a public vote in its member cities nearly 50 years ago with the intent of helping the four member cities manage their water supply safely and cost-effectively. District objectives include:

  • To improve the quality and quantity of the water supply
  • To invest in water technology and infrastructure
  • To provide cost savings and stability for homes and businesses
  • To promote water conservation efforts

Our board of directors is elected to represent member cities, and each Director serves a 4-year term. Please visit www.sgvmwd.org for more information about our programs, operations, board of directors and management.
