David Johnson Asst. General Manager

Darin Kasamoto has been with the district since 1997. He was hired as the Assistant Manager and was appointed to the position of General Manager in 2004. He previously was employed, for nine years, by Los Angeles County Department of Public Works as a civil engineer.

Darin has a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University in Civil Engineering, and a Master of Science Degree from California State University Long Beach in Civil Engineering. He is also a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California

Dave Johnson has been with the district since 1980. He was hired as a Maintenance Operator and was promoted to Assistant General Manager in 2006. Dave has also been a Senior Operator and an Operations Forman.

Dave has played an active role in the design, inspection, and operations of the district's facilities and projects, and has also overseen the district's hydro-electric plant project for the past twenty years. He has also managed the Corrosion projects, surveys, and studies performed on the pipeline to insure its integrity. Dave is a member of the American Water Works Association and Nace International.
