Election Information

Directors of SGVMWD are elected during state general elections and serve four-year terms. Candidates report their campaign income and expenses to the state Fair Political Practices Commission that monitors the elections. The finances of the district are subject to regular independent audit and are freely monitored by the media and other elected officials.
