Low Flow Toilet Program - Free ultra low flush toilets, an incentive to conserve

Each year in April, residents of the SGVMWD service area are able to receive a free low flow toilet. In total 1,410 toilets were given away at the three distribtion sites. SGVMWD also donated $15 for each old toilet that was returned to Sierra Madre Youth Activities, Gladstone High School, Azusa High School, and the althetic teams from Mark Keppel High School and Alhambra High School. In total, $21,150 was donated to these organizations. If you are a resident and were unable to participate this year, SGVMWD will be holding another giveaway in April 2007.
