Alhambra Nitrate and VOC Treatment

The City of Alhambra Department of Utilities is currently constructing a facility to clean groundwater of nitrates and volatile organic chemicals by using the best technology available today. The goal is to have the groundwater clean enough to meet California and EPA standards. SGVMWD is supporting the program through a combination of a financial grant and zero interest loan.
